Calling All Volunteers!
Join the Coalition for the Capital Crescent Trail and the Little Falls Watershed Alliance to remove invasive vines and shrubs along the CCT, so that native trees can thrive.
No experience necessary! We'll provide instruction as well as clippers and gloves, or bring your own.
When: Saturday, Jan. 28, 2022, 10 am-12 pm
Where: We'll meet at the parking lot of the Bethesda Outdoor Pool, located at 6300 Hillandale Rd, Chevy Chase, MD 20815. Look for us near the Trail crossing.
Who: Open to all. Volunteers under 14 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Pre-approved for MCPS SSL hours through LFWA.

Bring water and sunblock. Wear long sleeves, long pants and closed toe shoes to protect against poison ivy, prickers and the sun.
COVID Safety: Participants must follow the current Maryland and CDC guidelines for COVID safe events.
Weather policy: We usually hold invasive pulls as long as there is not pouring rain or deep snow. We will post messages here and on the LFWA website by 9 am on the day of the event if we need to cancel.
