The CCCT is partnering once again with the Little Falls Watershed Alliance (LFWA) to host a clean-up site as part of the Alice Ferguson Foundation's Annual Potomac River Watershed Cleanup. Volunteers at our site will focus efforts along the Capital Crescent Trail north and south of River Road. We'll have bags and gloves to share!

When: Saturday, April 15, 10am - 1pm
Come for an hour or two - whatever suits your schedule!
Where: Neal Potter Plaza on the north side of the River Road bridge. There is parking on Landy Lane.
Who: Perfect for all ages! Students under 14 years must be accompanied by responsible adult.
Pre-approved for SSL hours for MCPS.
Tips: Come prepared to get a little muddy! Bring grabbers if you have some to reach trash in trees and other hard to get spots. Wear sturdy, closed toe shoes, and long sleeves and pants to protect against any poison ivy, prickers and the sun. Bring water, a snack and sunblock.
