Coalition for the Capital Crescent Trail

About our website facelift

This CCCT website is undergoing a facelift. All of the top level webpages have a new look and a new navigation bar organization. If you are still seeing the old look in any top level pages, you may need to hit the "reload" button of your browser to force it to load from our web server instead of using an old file from your browser's "cache" of recently visited pages. We should have all pages changed within a few weeks. All webpages should continue to work during this transition. Contact us at webmaster@cctrail.org to report webpages that do not work, or any broken links.

Changes include:

  • The links to webpages most useful for learning about the Trail or for planning a first visit to the Trail are now in the horizontal navigation bar at the top of the page.
  • The links to pages 'Points of Interest', 'Photo Album', 'Trail Use Survey' and 'History' are grouped together in the 'PROFILE' page. It is hoped that grouping these together under 'PROFILE' will make it easy for first time visitors to find the descriptive information about the Trail, while also making the navigation bars shorter and easier to use.
  • The page 'News and Events' has been split into a 'News' page and a 'Volunteer' page. The 'Volunteer' page will include information on upcoming events, board meetings, and volunteer opportunities.
  • The 'Action Page' has been renamed 'Advocacy'
No pages have been eliminated - the intention is to give the website a fresh look and to make the website navigation easier.

This website turned ten years old early this year. It draws 300-400 visits each day. This is the first major facelift. Our website continues to be written and maintained by volunteers, with no fees paid to professional website designers.
